Chia Seed Pudding Breakfast Jars

☀️ Chia seed pudding breakfast jars☀️

We love using this recipe to create layered breakfast jars for my daughter's... this makes a simple mid-week breakfast as I prep these jars the night before.

Start off with making this really simple chia seed pudding; you can add extra flavours or leave it plain (which is what we do).
Once the chia seed pudding has set, layer it in a jar, glass or container with berry chia jam (recipe on our website), yoghurt, chopped prune / dates and top with mixed berries... or choose your own adventure and add your favourite fruits, top with granola... so many yummy options.

• Chia seed pudding •
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of milk (we use coconut milk)
1 tsp of vanilla
1-2 tbsp of maple syrup (to taste)
1/3 cup of chia seeds|

Method:
In a bowl or glass jar, add milk along with vanilla and maple syrup and stir.
Add chia seeds and stir to evenly combine. Leave it to set on the bench for 10 minutes and then give the chia pudding a stir to redistribute the chia seeds.
Place the chia pudding in the fridge to set and chill for at least 1-2 hours (preferably overnight), or until chilled through and pudding-like in consistency.
