DIY Magnesium Gel

• DIY MAGNESIUM GEL•

Have you read about the amazing health benefits from using magnesium oils and creams topically?? ✨

I have personally found that since applying this daily, it helps me to have a deeper sleep, supports my achy muscles from training, relieves head tension... but there are so many more benefits like restless legs, nausea and low blood pressure and more! 🙌🏻

The store bought versions are expensive 🤑 and I have another video on how easy it is to make the magnesium oil but I LOVE this gel as you can really target the area where you need support. We apply this every night to our girls after their bath and then follow with their massage blend (fractionated coconut + essential oils) to help their little bodies unwind after a busy day [of keeping me on my toes 😜]

We use magnesium spray on our girls every night and were eager to try out this gel recipe. It is so simple to make and is now our favourite application!

Ingredients

100g magnesium chloride flakes (I use less when I make this for my kids)
1 tsp (approx 2g) xanthan gum
100g hot water
20-30 drops essential oils (I use less drops when I make this for my kids and love to use AromaTouch)

Method
1. Combine magnesium chloride flakes and xanthan gum in a bowl and mix until well combined.
2. Add hot water and mix quickly until ingredients are well distributed, smooth and combined.
3. Add essential oils and mix well.
4. Transfer into container of choice.
