Hungry Monster Balls

😋 HUNGRY MONSTER BALL 😋

Earlier this term, my daughter's teacher had this activity set up in their pre-primary classroom. I thought it would be a great home activity too - this helps to strengthen hand muscles 🤗 [my 3yo needed a bit of help with this].

🔹All you need is a tennis ball - I grabbed these coloured balls from @bigwaustralia for $1 each.
🔸With a stanley knife, cut a long 'smile' (the larger the cut, the easier it is to open for your little one)
🔹With a permanent marker, draw eyes and a nose or glue on googly eyes
🔸Leave out a pile of gemstones or small rocks as food to fill the monster’s tummy
🔹 Get your little one to pinch behind the tennis ball to open up the monster’s mouth and dip the open mouth into the pile of gemstones to catch the food 😋
